Now you can enjoy live 'nature programmes' from your own nest box - and your own armchair! This ingenious multi-species nest box is fitted with a high quality, video camera designed to give sharp images with its in-built infrared lights. The box has a hinged lid giving easy access to the camera unit without disturbing the birds, and is convertible to different species: With copper hole protector on: blue tit, marsh tit, coal tit, wren, with hole protector off: great tit, sparrow and with panel removed: robin, wagtail, spotted flycatcher.The camera nest box comes complete with a 16-metre power/signal cable and a mains adaptor. It plugs straight into any TV, monitor or computer with a 'video in' socket (usually coloured yellow). The box is made from solid FSC timber from well-managed forests, and measures 14" x 6" x 6".Nest boxes are usually best sited at least 6' above the ground and away from the worst of the weather, the midday sun and the prevailing wind direction (often westerly in this country).This camera is available in either black and white or in colour.
